How to uninstall Wordpress depends on how it was installed.

1. Log in to the webspace control panel.

A) If you have installed Wordpress yourself, e.g. by uploading Wordpress files via FTP:

A2. Delete all files and directories from the document root directory of the domain. You can do this, for example via FTP or with the "File Manager" of the webspace control panel.

A3. In the web space control panel click on “Databases”. In your Wordpress database, click on the "Remove" icon.

B) If you have automatically installed WordPress from the Applications tab of the webspace control panel:

B2. Select the "Websites & Domains" tab and - if you have multiple domains - scroll to the domain where you installed Wordpress.

B3. Click on the link that bears the name of your Wordpress website, between the Wordpress logo and the "Sign in" button (In Wordpress installations whose password has been changed in Wordpress without changing the password in the webspace control panel too there is no "Sign in” button, but the button row starts with "Check Security".)

B4. Click on the "Remove" button. In the latest versions of the Wordpress toolkit, the "Remove" button is not immediately visible, but is part of the three-bar menu on the Wordpress Toolkit page. When removing, you can choose whether the database should also be removed. Remove the database as well.

B5. The Wordpress Toolkit usually does not remove all files, but only the files that originally belong to a Wordpress installation. Among other things, the .htacces file remains in the document root directory. To remove the remaining files, use your FTP access or the File Manager of the webspace control panel. Delete everything that you still find in the document root directory of the domain.
